Constantine Constructors and Constantine Engineering provided Design-Build services to rehabilitate Dauphin Island Water & Sewer Authority (DIWSA) lift stations. 

Constantine Engineering developed design drawings for the rehab of the existing lift stations. Design included bypass pumping with redundancy, removal/replacement of existing discharge piping, guide rails, pipe supports, protective coatings for wet well (Spectra Shield), and paint.

Constantine Constructors set up bypass pumping and piping with 100 percent reliability to handle peak flows of about 0.5 mgd, coordinated lining contractor and monitored the subcontractor’s activities during the subsurface preparation and application of the lining (Spectra Shield), and removed all existing equipment to furnish/install new discharge piping, valves, check valves and guide rails.
