SUE SUPERVISOR/ SENIOR GIS SPECIALIST
As the Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Department supervisor and Senior Geographical Information System Specialist for The Constantine Group family of companies, Mr. Crawford has over 14 years of experience. In his role as SUE Supervisor, Chris manages SUE services in Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama and Florida.
As the Subsurface Utilities Engineering Department Supervisor, Mr. Crawford is responsible for overseeing and directing Constantine's SUE staff, project activities, training and performance.
As the Senior GIS Specialist, Mr. Crawford is responsible for working in partnership with client’s information system departments to manage their database and continually improve performance and accuracy using the latest industry methods for data storage.
Mr. Crawford has supervised utility asset damage prevention projects, utility mapping and global positioning system (GPS) data collection projects, ground penetrating radar services to locate underground storage tanks and other underground structures, and potential conflict detection during the design phase for private as well as federal, state, and local government clients. He is experienced and highly knowledgeable in water and wastewater installation, maintenance and damage prevention best practices and has worked with Okaloosa County Water & Sewer(OCWS) to aid their water and wastewater maintenance crews for over a decade. He has managed SUE projects with budgets ranging from $1,500 to over $500,000. Mr. Crawford has overseen database projects of various scope and size, from database design to implementation to asset data management and database streamlining.
