Auburn, AL—Constantine Engineering representatives Joe Downey and Susan Downey participated in the 6th Annual Bo Bikes Bama charity event on April 29, 2017 in Auburn, Alabama. This annual bicycle ride started in 2012 following the devastating tornadoes that killed hundreds of people and destroyed countless structures in Alabama on April 27, 2011. The charity event supports the Governor’s Emergency Relief fund, which provides community storm shelters and storm warning sirens throughout Alabama. To date, the event has raised more than $1 million that has been used to rebuild damaged homes and build thousands of storm shelters. Alabama Governor Kay Ivey was present to thank Bo and all the riders for such a great cause.
Thousands of bicycle riders participated in this year’s event, headlined by celebrity riders Lance Armstrong and Brett Favre. Constantine Engineering is proud to support the communities across Alabama.
