Jefferson County, AL - As part of an ongoing program to detect and repair defects within the sewer system in Jefferson County, AL, Constantine performed manhole inspections. These inspections included condition assessment of the manhole components for any breakage or leaks, as well as documentation of the characteristics of the manhole and surrounding area.
Over the last few months Constantine’s Elliott White, Adam Fulmer, and Lance Kanzigg aided in the inspection of over 17,000 manholes. Some of the manholes were located within the residents’ yards, and along the way, they met a few curious on-lookers. Pictured above is Adam Fulmer providing a great STEM opportunity by giving some of Jefferson County’s younger residents a lesson on sanitary sewers.
